Massey University – Oteha Roe Campus
The Customer’s Requirement
Massey University planned a new campus in Auckland’s Albany, Oteha Roe, and ITL Technologies were nominated by Massey University to provide the Structured cabling infrastructure for the new campus.
The requirements included all underground ducting and cable pathways between buildings and the deployment of the campus wide Fibre backbone.
Following on from this initial works, ITL Technologies have had an ongoing relationship with Massey University, and works have included Switch and Wifi network deployments, Theatre cabling, refurbishments and new builds within the Auckland sites, and also in the main campus in Palmerston North.
The relationship with Massey continues today, with ITL remaining the preferred supplier. This project also marked the beginning of ITL being engaged on a national basis.
