Our Team

Paul founded ITL Technologies in 1986, bringing over 58 years of experience in voice and data communications. Known for his entrepreneurial vision and focus on customer service, he grew ITL into one of New Zealand’s leading data infrastructure companies. In 2010, he passed leadership to his son Brett and now serves as Chairman of the Board.

Helen played a key role in supporting Paul in establishing ITL Technologies, bringing extensive experience in accounts and administration from the Printing Industry. She later contributed part-time to the finance and human resources functions before fully stepping back from day-to-day operations. Helen now serves as a valued member of the Board.

David has been involved with ITL Technologies since its inception — initially through his role as a Partner at PwC, where he spent 33 years, including 22 years as a Partner. Since leaving PwC in 2011, David has continued to serve in multiple director and advisory roles, bringing extensive experience in corporate governance, strategic leadership, and SME business operations. His expertise spans consulting, stakeholder management, and business advisory across the New Zealand business landscape.

Brett has been the Managing Director of ITL Technologies since 2012 and brings over 36 years of industry experience across New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

He began his career as a technician, spending 12 years as a PABX engineer and on infrastructure network projects before relocating to London. There, Brett gained valuable experience as a Product Project Manager with a large multinational organisation and later as a Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of voice, data, and security services to power generation facilities across the UK national grid.
Brett holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business, and is a graduate of the Icehouse Owner Manager Programme. These have strengthened his leadership and strategic management skills, supporting ITL Technologies’ continued growth and operational excellence.
With extensive expertise in data centre infrastructure, structured cabling, and security, Brett has successfully led large-scale projects from solution design and pricing through to implementation, delivery and oversight. Under his leadership, ITL Technologies continues to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions that power the digital operations of businesses throughout New Zealand.
As Managing Director, I am passionate about building long-term client relationships, fostering innovation, and driving ITL Technologies’ commitment to delivering reliable, future-ready solutions for our clients. I believe my leadership is grounded in a hands-on understanding of the industry and a belief in empowering our team to excel and exceed expectations.

With over 25 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, I bring expertise in service delivery, infrastructure and customer success. I began my career in South Africa in 1980 whereby I developed strong technical and leadership capabilities while managing service teams and delivering high quality PABX and network solutions. 1997 was the year I decided to emigrate to NZ.

Appointed GM in 2019, I lead with a strong focus on customer service, operational excellence and team empowerment. I am passionate about building high-performing, collaborative teams that consistently deliver outstanding results.

I am a member of the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) and also completed the ICE HOUSE Leadership programme.

Driven by growth and continuous improvement, I am committed to fostering a culture where people thrive, performance is elevated, and client expectations are consistently exceeded.

Jacque has been part of the telecommunications industry since 1991, bringing over three decades of experience and a steady hand to ITL’s operations. She is the backbone of ITL’s financial and administrative functions—ensuring that the numbers add up, the processes run smoothly, and the people behind the business are supported.
What sets Jacque apart is her people-first approach. She combines sharp financial acumen with clear communication and a genuine commitment to building strong relationships. Whether it’s guiding her team, streamlining compliance processes, or working directly with clients, Jacque ensures that everything is handled with accuracy, transparency, and care.
Her career journey has also taken her through the chartered accountancy, cosmetics, olive, and wine industries—adding depth, adaptability, and a unique perspective to her leadership style. At ITL, Jacque isn’t just about balance sheets and procedures; she’s about balance—between precision and people, strategy and support, growth and stability.

As a Project Manager at ITL, I focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. I oversee all project phases—from stakeholder communication and resource management to problem-solving and process optimization—ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction in a constantly evolving industry.
Before joining ITL, I spent 10 years in the Energy sector, first as a Project Developer and then as a Project Manager, gaining a comprehensive understanding of technical, financial, and operational aspects from concept to commissioning. Outside of work, I enjoy the gym, dirt biking, and spending time with family and friends over a good BBQ.

I am a result-oriented Project Manager with 25yrs+ experience in delivering solutions within the telecommunications industry and Service Delivery Management.
I take pride in the successful management and delivery of multidisciplinary projects from moderately-to-highly complex projects.
This includes scoping, planning, estimating, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are successfully achieved.
Outside work I enjoy spending time with family, watching sport and the outdoors.

Robert is the Senior Estimator at ITL, a pivotal role in the business, Robert utilises his tremendous Industry knowledge and network to effectively manage complex quotes and tenders to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers. He is a great Team member, always happy to assist other staff.

Scott has vast experience in the Auckland Telecommunications industry in voice and data and is committed to providing tailored solutions for ITL customers, this has enabled Scott to build long term relocationships over the last 20 years He is passionate about technology and helping each client succeed with their project.

Since joining ITL Technologies, I’ve focused on Account and Project Management—ensuring every client’s needs are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget. With over 30 years in telecommunications, I understand that each client has unique requirements, and through collaboration and active listening, we consistently deliver first-class results.

What I Bring to ITL and Our Clients

Originally trained in horticulture before serving with the British Royal Signals, I bring a lifelong commitment to growth, teamwork, and teaching. I take pride in helping others develop in their roles while continuing to learn myself. Outside of work, my four grandsons and my passion for gardening—often guided by my “#1 client,” my wife of over 30 years

Stephen has been an integral member of the ITL Technologies team for over a decade, specialising in the implementation of projects. He works closely with clients to design, deploy, and maintain high-performing communication networks tailored to their specific business needs.
With a practical, results-driven approach and an unwavering focus on quality, Stephen ensures every project is delivered efficiently and reliably. His deep technical expertise and collaborative nature make him a trusted advisor to clients across a wide range of industries.

I have been a member of the ITL team for 17 years with a varied portfolio of work, managing the design and installation of WiFi systems, CCTV systems and Access Control & Security. I take great pride in what I do and enjoy working with our clients to exceed their expectations.

In my role, I manage all service job enquiries received via email and phone, coordinating resources and schedules to ensure smooth operations and timely service. I work closely with the sales team on larger projects, organising technician schedules, equipment, and materials through preferred suppliers. For jobs outside our region, I coordinate trusted contractors nationwide to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, and playing social lawn bowls at my local club.

Natasha has been part of ITL Technologies since December 2017, bringing dedication and precision to her role as Accounts Administrator. She is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless financial processes across the business. With her strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Natasha plays an essential role in supporting ITL’s financial operations.
Outside of work, Natasha is all about family. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and son, and often channels her creativity into a variety of projects and activities. Valuing connection, teamwork, and creating lasting memories, Natasha brings the same positive energy to her personal life that she does to her role at ITL.
