ITL was selected to design and deliver the data, fibre and broadcast infrastructure for the Eden Park’s first future-ready communications network, powering everything from security and wireless to broadcast, point of sale, and the stadium’s big screens. This landmark installation introduced New Zealand’s first Tyco Category 7a shielded cabling system, supported by fibre backbones and custom-built solutions to meet the stadium’s complex needs. It was carried out on budget and on time for the 2011 World Cup. The result was a world-class, high-performance infrastructure built to handle the demands of major international events.

ITL were selected to undertake Cabling, Electrical, Network and Wireless hardware site audits for one of our Nationwide clients to enable the delivery of a Network upgrade project.
Following on from these site inspections, ITL were engaged to undertake the nationwide wireless network designs and design of the required cabling infrastructure.
The last part of the project required ITL to install and commission the new cabling infrastructure, install the Wireless network and Switches, and finally commission the site, this relationship still continues today.

This required ITL to undertake audits on each site, including reporting on the state of the Communications Cabling and Racks, HVAC, UPS, Raised floor, Power, Lighting, Earthing, Seismic bracing, Fire suppression, Passive Fire Sealing, Security and Access, CCTV, Water risks, In-ceiling services. From this report, ITL provided budgetary costs to undertake remediation works in order to lower the risk factors associated with each site.
